Ceramic membrane is a new and efficient inorganic separation medium with porous structure. It is made by inorganic ceramic materials through a special processsuch such as Al2O3, TiO2 and ZrO2 . It usually has a porous support, transition layer, and microporous membranes as a 3-layer asymmetric structure, and the filtration accuracy range includes microfiltration, ultrafiltration and nanofiltration.

The  ceramic membrane tube uses cross flow filtration process to achieve solution separation, purification and concentration. With a circulating pump, liquid is circulating in the different membrane pores at high speed. Under pressure, the filtrate is filtered out in a tangential way. Due to high speed movement, the unfiltered filtrate forms a turbulence which takes away few attached solid on the membrane to prevent blocking of the membrane. The filtrate continuously circulates and the concentration of solid will be discharged automatically after reaching a certain level and it will finally achieve the purpose of fluid separation.
